SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test

• Duration of exam: Total 60 minutes (1 hour) is allotted for the exam
• No. of questions: Total 60 Questions. 15 for General English, 25 for Analytical & Logical Reasoning and 20 for Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
• Marks distribution: General English – 15 marks, Analytical & Logical Reasoning – 25 marks, Quantitative, DI & DS – 20 marks
• Marking scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer

• General English: Vocabulary, idioms, grammar, sentence correction, reading comprehension, para jumbles
  
• Analytical & Logical Reasoning: Series, analogies, puzzles, seating arrangement, verbal reasoning, coding-decoding, blood relations
  
• Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: Arithmetic, algebra, number systems, geometry, mensuration, data tables, bar graphs, caselets, data sufficiency

• Registration: Online registration on snaptest.org

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), Final-year students may apply, No age limit

• Documents Required: Passport-size photograph, Signature, Academic mark sheets, Category certificate (if applicable)

Exam fee:  ₹2,250 per test attempt, Additional ₹1,000 per Symbiosis institute/program applied

The SNAP selection process includes shortlisting candidates based on their SNAP scores, followed by further selection rounds conducted by respective Symbiosis institutes. These rounds typically include Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Each institute assigns different weightage to SNAP scores, GE, WAT, PI, academic performance, and work experience. Final admission is based on cumulative performance across all stages.
